Call for Special Session

The IEEE/IFIP P2CWeek-14 organizing committee invites proposals for special sessions to be included in the technical program of the main conferences. Prospective special session organizers are invited to submit proposals on foundational and emerging topics in areas relevant to this conference. The special sessions will provide an opportunity for researchers and industry practitioners to share their research results and practical development experiences on specific challenging and emerging issues.

A special session proposal should include a proper title and a topic, along with a brief abstract and short bios of all organizers. The organizers should also include the list of the expected speakers, with a brief description of their contributions and short bios. Special session proposals should be submitted to the special session co-chairs (to one co-chair or to all co-chairs), with the subject "IEEE/IFIP P2CWeek-14 SPECIAL SESSION PROPOSAL".

The organizers of approved special sessions are required to coordinate with authors to ensure high-quality paper submissions to be included in the conference proceedings by the camera ready deadline. The conference will provide facilities including author registration, room arrangement, coffee break, lunch, etc.

At least one of the organizers for each approved special session is required to register to the conference and attend the session as a chair, while all the speakers are required to register and present the paper.
